Meet the Pastor

Pastor Wayne is a dynamic preacher with a supernatural calling to equip and train the people of God to expand the Kingdom of God. He possess a unique blend of spiritual gifts, professional training and experience.

Pastor Wayne has been a nearly lifelong resident of the Milwaukee area. Married in 1967, he and his late wife, Nancy, have two daughters, Nicole and Kristy, and eight grandchildren. Prior to entering the ministry, Pastor Wayne worked for 12 years for the W. H. Brady Co. where he was Quality Control manager before leaving to study for the ministry. Nancy worked as a registered nurse and nursing supervisor fir a nursing home until taking over as principal of Jubilee Christian School in 1984. The school operated for 20 years. The work of educating young children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord continues through the Preschool and Daycare. Although Nancy went home to be with Lord, her vision for education and Pastor’s fervor for ministry has not diminished.

On December 6, 1975 Pastor Rohde received a supernatural calling into the ministry as the Lord revealed to him the “charter” of the ministry he was later to enter. The calling consisted of words from Isaiah. 59:19b “When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.”

In 1978 the Rohde’s moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma to attend Rhema Bible Training Center, a two year school for ministers. While going to Rhema the Rohde’s attended Faith Christian Fellowship and were greatly influenced and inspired by the ministry of Pastor Buddy Harrison. Both graduated in 1980 and returned to found what is now Jubilee Christian Family Church. Pastor Rohde was ordained in 1981 by Faith Christian Fellowship and in 1986 by Rhema Bible Church, both in Tulsa. After Harrison’s passing in 1998, Pastor Rohde has looked to Pastor Mark Barclay and the Righteous Preacher’s Network as his spiritual authority.

Since entering the ministry in 1980, Pastor Rohde has labored to fulfill the holy calling given to him to “stoutly defend the truth that God gave once for all to his people to keep without change through the years.” Jude 3, TLB

Children & Youth

Kristy Bowman
CHILDREN’S MINISTRY

Jubilee welcomed Kristy as the Children’s Ministry Director in October of 2018. Kristy has been a member of Jubilee for many years, as she is the daughter of Pastor Rohde. She is also married to Jim Bowman with 4 children: Gabriella (12), Madalyn (10), Ezekiel (8) and Ethan (6). Kristy is an alumni of Jubilee Christian School and a graduate of Hillsdale College (Hillsdale, MI) with a degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. Kristy taught in both private and public schools in the Milwaukee area for 13 years before leaving the career to stay home with her children. She often served in leadership roles in the schools and provided mentoring to other teachers. When the opportunity was presented to serve as Director, it was a natural fit after years of serving children both in ministry and through her career.

Having been raised in a ministry home, Kristy has a strong desire to teach children how to build personal relationships with our Savior and make serving Christ something they do in their daily lives…not just coming to church to hear stories. Kristy’s favorite verse since youth has been 1 Timothy 4:12, “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity.” (NIV) God doesn’t set age requirements on serving the Kingdom! Kristy seeks to grow our next generation of leaders through strong knowledge of the Bible and through service in the House of God and in their communities.

Outside of church, Kristy stays busy with her children and endless laundry. She also enjoys shopping, selling clothes online, creating fun birthday parties, time with friends, and being involved in her children’s school activities.

Faith Chavez
G-FORCE YOUTH MINISTRY

Faith attended Oral Roberts University and is a graduate of Supernatural Ministries Training Institute (SMTI).  Faith has been a part of Jubilee Christian Family Church since 1979 and actively involved in its ministry since the age of 12. At the age of 17, she felt a call on her life to minister to teenagers. Faith has been involved with the youth at Jubilee for 30 years. Additionally, she is the Dean of our video Bible School (SMTI) and sings with our praise and worship group, Jubilation.

As a youth leader, Faith’s desire is to guide today’s youth in practical application of God’s Word, knowing who they are in Christ, knowing their purpose and call of God for their life. “I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope He has given to those He called – His holy people who are His rich and glorious inheritance.” Ephesians 1:18 NLT

Faith is a wife and mom.  She enjoys spending time with her family, shopping, watching movies, and traveling near and far.

Kathie Lingafelt
MUSIC MINISTRY

As a psalmist, Kathie seeks to provoke and encourage through word and song…”And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and good works not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as ye see the day drawing nigh.” Hebrew 10:24-25 A.S.V.

Kathie’s ministry includes anointed songwriting, establishing a youth worship team and serving as a back-up singer for internationally renowned gospel singer, Ken Daniel. Kathie also taught middle school music; directed school musicals; served as worship leader at the Family Church Conference in Tulsa, Oklahoma; and Bill Winston’s Milwaukee Conference. She continues ministering at numerous churches and conferences. In 2014 Kathie released her first CD “Songs of Ascent” which is available by contacting Jubilee Christian Family Church.

Kathie resides in Caledonia and is married to Cliff. Together they raised four children in a loving Christian home. Now Kathie and Cliff reap the reward of surviving parenting with six beautiful grandchildren.

Love is a fruit in season at all times, and within reach of every hand. It is the greatest gift anyone can give.
